Half Way Through The Whole30

Bryan and I are on day 15 of The Whole30 Program!  If you aren’t familiar with the program, you eliminate certain foods for 30 days.  After the 30 days are up, you slowly reintroduce foods to your diet.

The food you eliminate:

  • sugars
  • grains
  • legumes
  • dairy
  • alcohol

Basically, you only eat fruits, veggies, and meat. 🙂

We have both seen benefits already.  I feel less bloated, especially after eating.  My clothes fit better!  Both of us are down in pounds.  I wake up easier and don’t have a mid-afternoon crash.  Our diets (especially mine) were getting out of control and needed to be cleaned up.  It also makes you realize just how much you are eating and that sugar is really in EVERYTHING!

I would recommend giving this a try!  The key to success for us has been to plan out our food.  I have found several recipes and ideas on Instagram and Pinterest!
