Bryan and I just got back from a birthday weekend in Sacramento. There is a Hyatt that we like to stay at which overlooks the state capitol.

On the way up we stopped by the outlets. Peanut got a few outfits and Bryan got some shoes. I got a maternity top. Once we got to the hotel, we immediately went to the pool, which really does feel good while being pregnant! While we were out there, we saw 3 different ladies breast feeding. Still not sure how I feel about that.
We both need to work on our tans!
After a few hours by the pool, we walked around the capital before having a nice seafood dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s.
I had pesto crusted Mahi Mahi. Bryan had Ahi. He said it was great, but I couldn’t try it.
Dessert was yummy chocolate pudding.
Today we headed back to the pool before having brunch and heading home. It was a great birthday weekend!

It is a great place to stay. Very cool-looking. Very friendly staff – and attentive poolside servers. Very close to lots of good restaurants, IMAX, and the gardens of the state capitol.
