Peachy Day in the Central Valley

I grew up picking blueberries at my Aunt’s farm, so I have always enjoyed u-pick farms.  Today, Bryan and I drove about an hour away to find some u-pick farms.  We were afraid they would all be closed for the season, but we were wrong!  We were able to pick cherries and peaches.  There were also u-pick strawberries, but Peanut didn’t feel like bending over so close to the ground.  It was a great day outside in the heat!  We ended up with 4 pounds of cherries and 10 pounds of peaches.  We are trying to come up with creative ways to use the cherries.  Bryan has already made peach puree and is making his famous cobbler for the 4th to go along with his vanilla ice cream!  Let me know if you have any ideas for the cherries.  🙂
