Today was a beautiful day in San Mateo! The weather was perfect. It was sunny and in the mid-60’s. Bryan and I got up early so we could take Ben to get his haircut. This is Ben before (ignore my wet head and no make-up).
After we dropped him off, we headed to the Farmer’s Market. This is by far the best time of the year to go. All of our favorites are in season ( by the amount of people there, everyone’s favorite). We got the best strawberries I have ever tasted, cucumbers for a nice cucumber salad, carrots, squash, lettuce, peaches and potatoes. I wanted to get blueberries, but refuse to pay $14 a quart!
Afterwards, we dropped off dry cleaning for the first time in close to 4 months! Bryan was out of clothes! Next to our dry cleaners is the Ravioli House to I went to get some ravioli and coffee. I am excited to try the ravioli! It was then time to pick Ben up. He sure does look handsome with his new haircut.
We left the back door open so the cats could enjoy the weather on the balcony which is at least 12 feet high while we went for a walk. Normally they are fine since it is so high. We got home from our walk and didnt see Ben which isn’t out of the ordinary because he is always hiding. Around 7, Bryan got curious since we hadn’t seen him and we looked in all his normal hiding spot and couldn’t find him. We both walked up and down the alley a few times and thought he was gone forever until……Bryan pulled out a drawer and Ben had wedged himself behind the drawer! We were both relieved!
Have a good rest of the weekend! Happy Father’s Day Daddy!
